We celebrate the cross, as we should, but God has shown me lately that to celebrate it is not enough.
You see while the cross was Jesus death, resurrection and way for mankind to be saved, it is also something more.
The cross is His invitation to us. If we truly wish to dwell in the fullness of the Glory of God, we must also release ourselves to the fullness of death and sacrifice that is found in the cross.
For us to look at the cross and say God what a marvelous thing you did, and never respond to it's call is the greatest tragedy that this world has ever seen.
Let us respond to the call of Jesus. As Paul stated, let us be baptised into His death, so that we might also rise with Him.
On this day when we remember all that he has done for us. Let us ask as well, what Lord, would you wish us to do with our life? We cannot measure up to the standard, and we cannot achieve our own salvation or sanctification, but we still have a response to make.
When we respond the way of the cross, we see the miraculous. We gain the courage and faith to go where we never felt that before. We receive power, anointing and authority.
Let us praise Him on this day, with our words yes, but in our devotion to Him and response to Him as well.
Love you guys and have an awesome weekend!
Daniel
