How beautiful on the mountains
are the feet of those who bring good news,
who proclaim peace,
who bring good tidings,
who proclaim salvation,
who say to Zion,
“Your God reigns!”
Isaiah 52:7
To who is deserving of this honour? Who among us can be counted worthy to be the stewards and bearers of this hope and life; the power to change and transform lives like nothing else in all of history?
I dare say that none of us are. For all have sinned and fall short of the Glory of God. We do not deserve this responsibility. We cannot handle it.
What blows me away every time, is that still He entrusts this to us. He wants sons and daughters, not slaves.
He saves us from death, but that is not even enough, His goodness is too great for that alone! He rises us up above every evil, above the powers of this earth, and into a relationship with Him.
He entrusts us with responsibilities and privileges that we do not deserve, nor cannot complete on our own, yet He does this so that we might be with Him, not just working for Him.
If you ever have the blessing to speak to others about this glorious hope that we have in Christ Jesus. What a privilege, do not be afraid, do not be discouraged or unsure about what to say, He will give you the words and the boldness to speak. He just asks for that first step, the first word.
The reason I write this today, is because this Saturday, I have this privilege. We are running a special event this week, an all-night skate session at an indoor skate facility. We have invited many unsaved, new 'crew'. They have never been to something like this before, and I have the blessing of sharing a message with them.
I cannot do this alone. I need your prayers. To truly see their lives change, this must be covered in prayer. Please will you pray with me that their eyes might be opened. That their hearts are soft and ready. That there is no hindrance to that seed which will be delivered on Saturday night.
Would you pray with me this week, and on Saturday night, to see many youth of this nation, who right now are lost, alone and despairing, have the hope and joy that we have every day. The salvation of their soul, and the fullness of life that comes only from a relationship with our creator.
Thanks you, it is my joy and privilege to share this with you, and together rejoice in what God is going to do.
Peace!
Daniel
