The problem with them is that, in most cases you can read it in a day or week. Their whole life story in one week? There's obviously a lot missing.
The questions that I had this morning while reading was this. What happened in the spaces? They often mention significant event to significant event. Even in the Gospels we see Jesus, but we still do not see the whole life. What did he do in those spare 5 minutes here or there.
Or the two year gap while it says, 'they worked at this job until 1806'. What were they thinking? Did they have the thoughts, is it even possible, I have already failed? Did they spend all their time pursuing their goal, or was there times when they simply didn't know what to do?
Ultimately, I don't know, the only ones who do, were with them.
I was thinking though, so I am here in this time, this position. What can I do?
Love God, love people. And I think that if I can do this, then it will all be ok. It won't work out like I planned, but that's good, because my plans are usually poorly thought out. :)
Grace and peace to you!
