I am learning a little of the Fijian language here, but praise God i can communicate easily to them as they mostly all speak English.
Our time here has been amazing thus far, staying with the Maramas. The most amazing and hospitable family on the planet! After a 5? hour flight, we took a bus to Suva, the Capital which is on the other side of the island. Its around a 4 hour trip, but it went by fast while watching the amazing scenery!
We have been here for 2 days, and will head out tomorrow morning to Labasa, by ferry, which will take the whole day to get there. Labasa is on the northern large island, much less populated than the southern one, and much more traditional.
We will be doing a wide range of activities, such as volleyball games with the local kids after school, Indian Community outreach, feeding widows and children. Slum ministry. Open airs, bus preaching, various church services and ministries and whatever else we can i guess!
Please pray that doors will be open, as well as hearts! We wish to see a great many people's lives be transformed through the power of God!
Vinaka! Grace and peace go with you all, i will be praying for you all!
Daniel
