My last post on this topic was a huge help right?!
(If you haven't seen it, then check it out here;

This is a questions all of us face, and all of us answer, however most of us are often completely unaware of the fact. When everything goes to crap. When it falls apart, the floor under you is gone, and you are trapped, paralysed, you don't know where to turn, what to do, even how to think.
It can seem hopeless, it can seem desperate. Anxiety rises, and in this moment you find out who you are. (Or if you are seeing someone else in this situation who they are. Keep this in mind those of you interested in romantic relationships.)
At this moment of panic, usually we will do what we have been trained to do. Now depending on what you have either, been trained to do, or trained yourself to do, you will freak out, attack everybody around you, deny the problem, eat, drink, cry, etc.
If you have been modeled by your parents or others who you admire a good way, you may do this. The calmly and rationally think, or better yet to pray.
Rarely do the simple answers reassure us. For example, when you are lost and confused and don't know where to turn, someone says to you, trust in the Lord.... You feel like punching them in the face, right? maybe that can just be me.
Or when you want to be great at something and you ask people how... and they say what?
Practice makes perfect.
Another one of those moments in which God teaches you love, grace and patience.
But what I have found is that people say these, and they are so common because they are truth.
I just recently started learning how to skateboard. Now I have picked it up quickly, but that is because of a few things:
1 A commitment to 'get back on the horse'. Without this, anybody will give up after the first week, because I guarantee you will fall and hurt yourself very soon, what do you do then?
2 I actually did it. I decided, but actually went out and started riding on a skateboard. It was embarrassing it hurt, and was frustrating, but over time I got better.
3 Time. The number one way that you will get better on a skateboard is this: Spend time on it. The more time you spend practicing, the better you will be. This goes for anything, but it's amazing how often I have expected to get better after a week of no skating. Of course I am not! Even talking about it, looking at it, imagining it doesn't compare. Just do it.
So when you don't know what to do, what do you do? This tells me what kind of person you are. It tells me who I am. Will I explode. Will I freeze up? Will I pray?
It's dumb, it's glib, it's superficial answer, but the reality is you just need to do it. Do it and don't stop until you have an answer. And if that answer is what you need good, if not find out what it is good for. It may be how God wants to help you. And if not, keep praying until you get what you need!
The simplicity of these is foolish, yet it's exactly what we need.
Peace,
Daniel
