Hey guys,
How crazy is it to think that I have been on outreach for two weeks already?! We have had an amazing time, seeing around 20 people so far come to the knowledge of God through the work that we have been doing with our partners and contacts. We have spent a week in the Gold coast, as I have previously shared for 5DE, then we just came back from sydney, where we were at an event called nations 2 Nations.
This is a conference hosted by YWAM, and is involved in the ministry of reconciliation and equipping to see all nations find their identity and purpose in God, to come together and celebrate their unique expression of God, and then to go out into all the world to reach all people for Christ.
It was an amazing time, with over 20 nations being represented, and seeing the many expressions of praise from various cultures, including tribal dances, songs and many other things!
We then went out during the afternoon to do local outreach and evangelism, and during this time with all of the groups we saw 5 people accept Jesus as their Lord. I also got to share the message of God with a bunch of local guys who came down to play some rugby with us. Whoever said that there is no cost in following God and reaching the nations was wrong! After playing I was so sore that I still cant move properly! Playing full-contact rugby against islanders and amazingly skillful australians can hurt...
But it was so worth it to spread the message of hope, and show these guys the light that is found in Christ Jesus. That He is all they need and can give them the peace and joy, and all the fullness of life that they are searching for!
We are back now in Newcastle, going camping for the weekend with the whole base for 'base retreat' a time where the whole family comes together to share some direction for the future and be encouraged and just have a good time.
We leave for New Zealand on Tuesday, and will be there until the 10th of November. Please pray that hearts would be opened, that ppeople would be receptive and that God would lead people to us for divine encounters.
After this leg we have a month in Fiji, which i will be leading solo, this will be a challenging experience, but I know that God has called me to the task. To undertake this second journey I need another $1000 to cover all of the ground fees such as food, accomodation and transport. If you like what God has been doing so far, please partner with me in this, with a small donation or large donation to see that nations and many people's lives changed.
Please continue to pray, as we have seen some really amazing results so far, but want to see even more in the coming months!
Thanks for your support and for your prayers, I pray be blessed and have the peace of God rest on you for this next week!
Daniel.
